Greeks would make sure that their sculptures were always of perfect people. They did not wish to have ugly art. They were very famous for their sculptures of the human form. Sometimes, the statues were made for the purpose of worship for the gods. They were also created for markers over graves.
Pots

Pots could tell us a lot about the daily life of the ancient Greeks. They told us about social classes and some even had stories of the gods. The methods for decorating these pots varied. One method was the Black Figure method. This was wear glazed figures were painted onto the natural orange of the clay pot. Another method was the Red Figure. This was were figures were outlined in black and left red against the black background. Pots were used for many different things. Amphorai were used to hold water and wine. Kraters were used to mix the water and wine. Jugs were for pouring, and cups were for drinking.
